About Arangath
Arangath is a UK-registered specialist BIM consultancy delivering ISO 19650-compliant coordination, information management and digital delivery for civil and water infrastructure clients. Our delivery operation is based in India (Kochi and Mumbai) and our client-facing operation is anchored in London. We serve contractors and developers in the UK — including across the AMP8 investment cycle — and in India.
About the role
You will produce and maintain multi-discipline BIM models for live UK and Indian civil and infrastructure projects — from treatment works, pumping stations and networks to drainage, highways and other civil assets. Working to ISO 19650 standards and project BIM Execution Plans, you will turn design information into coordinated, clash-free, data-rich models that pass client review from day one. This is a hands-on modelling role for someone who wants to work on real infrastructure to international standards, not just building interiors.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain LOD 300–400 BIM models across civil, structural and process disciplines using Revit and Civil 3D.
- Produce infrastructure deliverables — alignments, profiles, corridors, grading, pipe networks — from design inputs and survey data.
- Run and support clash detection using Navisworks Manage, and help resolve coordination issues across disciplines.
- Generate coordinated drawing sets, as-built documentation, schedules and quantity take-offs directly from federated models.
- Work within a Common Data Environment (ACC / BIM360 / ProjectWise), maintaining file naming, version control and data-drop discipline.
- Follow project BEPs and Arangath / ISO 19650 modelling standards on every deliverable.
- Convert point-cloud survey data into intelligent Revit models (Scan to BIM) where required.
- Collaborate with the BIM Lead and international (UK) design teams, meeting delivery milestones and quality checks.
Essential skills & experience
- 2–4 years' hands-on BIM modelling experience in an AEC or infrastructure environment.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D; working knowledge of Navisworks Manage and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of LOD conventions, clash detection workflows and coordinated drawing production.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (BIM360 / ACC or ProjectWise).
- Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil, Mechanical, Structural or related engineering discipline.
- Good written English and the ability to work with international (UK-based) design teams.
Desirable (a strong advantage)
- Experience on water or wastewater projects — treatment plants, pumping stations, networks, reservoirs.
- Exposure to ISO 19650 / UK BIM Framework delivery or UK / international client projects.
- Point-cloud / Scan to BIM experience and Dynamo scripting.
- Awareness of process and MEICA disciplines on water treatment assets.
What we offer
- Live UK infrastructure projects and genuine ISO 19650 exposure — strong CV value.
- Structured mentoring under an experienced BIM Lead and 25 years of engineering expertise.
- Clear progression path toward BIM Coordinator / senior modelling roles as the team scales.
